Family Education Task Force

The COJC&E’s Sh’arim Initiative (Prepared and Planned Programs, Expansion and Sh’arim grants) is overseen by the Family Education Task Force, a working committee of the Bureau of Jewish Education (BJE). Members of the Task Force include representatives from the movements and agencies that co-sponsor Sh’arim. The Chair of the Task Force is Terry Yoffie. The Task Force is staffed by Meir Sherer, Family Education Consultant at the BJE.  Task Force members include:

The Task Force reviews the training, institutional and professional support, and evaluation components of the project. It selects the Sh’arim sites and monitors the Initiative’s progress at each institution through a series of reports and site visits.
